Wakefield Council has unveiled its Autumn Winter Planner, a guide to seasonal events and activities running from October through February across the district.
The planner brings together events and experiences at museums, libraries, galleries and visitor attractions, as well as parks, heritage sites and community spaces throughout Wakefield's towns and villages.
What's included
Highlights include family-friendly Halloween activities, festive light switch-ons, Christmas markets, winter trails, exhibitions, performances and hands-on workshops.
The council said the planner aims to help residents and visitors discover what is happening across the district while supporting local attractions, venues, cultural organisations and community spaces during the busy run-up to Christmas.
How to access the planner
The Autumn Winter Planner is available online at Experience Wakefield's website. Printed copies will be available from mid-October at council libraries, museums, community centres, family hubs and other public venues across the district.
