A horse spotted on his commute has inspired a new song and music video by Streethouse musician Jack Silver.
The singer-songwriter is preparing to release Tiny Horse on Friday 6 November, with a free launch show that evening at the Cross Keys pub in Old Snydale.
Silver says the idea began with a small horse he regularly passed on his way to work. The song developed over two years before he recorded, produced and mixed it in his spare room.
Friends helped him make the music video, which features a Shetland pony. The photographs accompanying the story were taken by Lauren Silver.
The project brings together a home-recorded track, a locally made video and a pub launch close to the musician’s home community.
Tiny Horse and its video are due to be released on 6 November. Listeners can find the artist’s music and updates through Jack Silver’s official links.
