The former Topps Tiles premises on Ings Road in Wakefield are set to become a new Coral Windows showroom, with work expected to start in December.
The family-run Yorkshire company says it plans to invest hundreds of thousands of pounds in converting the unit into a flagship showroom. An exact investment figure has not been announced.
The proposed space will feature windows and doors installed in house-style façades, alongside displays showing single-storey extensions. Visitors would be able to walk through the displays to see how the products fit into a property.
Coral Windows director Joshua Valente said the business had operated in Wakefield for many years and described the investment as a sign of its long-term commitment to the city.
The company expects work to transform the premises to begin in December 2026, with signage announcing the project appearing beforehand.
An opening date has not yet been confirmed. Coral says it will announce the date as the project progresses.
The announcement was supplied directly to Wakefield Gazette by Coral Windows.
