A man has been arrested on suspicion of sexually assaulting a teenage girl in the kitchen aisle of an Asda supermarket in Wakefield.
West Yorkshire Police were called to the store on Asdale Road at about 15:45 BST on Thursday following reports of the assault.
A 28-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of sexual assault and assault of a police officer.
Appeal for witnesses
Police believe a woman who was shopping in the kitchen aisle confronted the man after the alleged incident. Officers have asked her and anyone else with information to come forward.
