Young people across Wakefield received their A Level results on Thursday 13 August.
Wakefield Council's Cabinet Member for Children and Young People congratulated all students on their achievements and encouraged them to take next steps into work, training, or further and higher education.
Support for students
The Cabinet Member acknowledged that not all students will have received the grades they hoped for. Those disappointed with their results have been urged to contact their school or college for support and advice on next steps and available opportunities.
